BULLS DONE RIGHT

The beef industry is demanding & requires reliable bulls that perform predictably.

The Greenup Eidsvold Station are Breedplan herds.

Our breeding program is underpinned by six decades of selection and the longest running objectively performance recorded herds.

We measure thousands of data records each year and use this data for ground-truthing subjective appraisals and to ensure we produce seedstock that is demonstrably improving in commercially relevant traits.

Constitution: Our bulls are bred on the tough Ironbark forest country of the Great Dividing Range, under demanding, low-protein conditions.  This environmental pressure ensures we continue to select for easy-doing cattle with exceptionally high constitution.

All bulls must pass our criteria for conformation, temperament semen morphology, scrotal size, growth and muscling, while retaining softness.

So whether you are a numbers person, or just want bulls that you can trust to do a job for you in any environment; you can be assured that they’ve qualified for the Greenup standard.

The Difference:

Industry relevance lies at the heart of our breeding values.

We understand what’s important to the bottom line and  we embed business priorities into our breeding objectives to produce low cost, high-return, self-replacing herds, that serve the whole supply chain for major domestic and export markets.

Greenup Eidsvold Station Studs enjoy regular success at the Brisbane RNA commercial competitions.  In 2017, Greenup Eidsvold Station won the prestigious RNA Paddock to Palate Trade Champion Carcase for a pen of six steers and took third overall winner in the Paddock to Palate, with an aggregate score for the pen of six in Average Daily Weight Gain, Carcase and MSA Eating Quality.
